It’s Only a Matter of Time

At that moment, when I began my journey, the dress was delivered by mail. It was clear that it wasn’t meant for me to torment the lace before the holidays. Perhaps it’s for the best—I’ll devote more care and attention to it right after the holidays, when I return from my travels.

“It’s only a matter of time,” I thought, looking at the lace that awaited its turn for the scissors and needle to get to work on it.
