Poem About Fabrics, Failures, and Fixing Things

Will it sit there forever,in the corner – this jacket I messed up so badly?Or should I just stick to projects that don’t need more fabric (or skill) than I’ve got?
Will the jacket forgive mefor handling its fabric like a butcher, not a tailor? For hacking seams in all the wrong places and making sleeves that could double as sails?
Is there any hope to fixmy shaky faith in my sewing skills?Tomorrow, I’ll give it another go – try making peace with this jacket, I can’t promise it that I'll never sew chaos again.
